        No hardware needed: the OBD page's Connect button offers a simulated car. With a Bluetooth LE OBD2 adapter in Chrome or Edge (on Linux, after enabling chrome://flags/#enable-experimental-web-platform-features), the same button connects your own car; the data stays in your browser.
